The taste of king cobra blood, hanging with The Raiders of the Nassau ghetto, or how to surprise corrupt military police when they rob you on your birthday.
AND FOR THE REST OF THE STORY
Most people can tell you an adversity story, some sort of life challenge that helped define their character. But we’d never heard one quite like Jeremy’s. As a young electrician, he had just signed on to a new job at a Northern Canadian gas plant, but broke his arm on the very first day. Agony. Arctic winds of –40°. Yet, determined to show management he was worthy of their faith, he hid his injury – which was so bad it would require surgery – for an entire day, making him an overnight legend in the oil & gas world. And we thought we knew about commitment. Although he’s been to over thirty countries, Jeremy felt an immediate resonance with Japan, and within a week of signing an offer letter, the Vancouver native had sold his car and was packing up to begin crushing it as a Tokyo recruiter. Colleagues and friends love him for his straight-shooter approach to life. Whether he’s making his next executive placement or electric scootering around Myanmar’s mystical city of Bagan, he wastes no time in overthought, while always making time for a joke to keep the mood buoyant. Asked what he digs about being a Partner here, he says, “The Zensho Agency vibe is extremely progressive, which includes recognizing change and embracing it.” Jeremy’s coming on board was one of our most positive changes ever. We’re just lucky we didn’t have to hike up into the frozen tundra of British Columbia to find him.
